Ooh Mama!! Maybe Just a Few Inches More
To just look up at her a few inches above me,
tall woman, ooh Mama, goddess lady, mountains high.
Built like tree, earth dolly,
squirrely cheeks and night city eyes.
My face inclined like a puppet by her beauty strings in the sky
to just look up at her a few inches above me,
Aphrodite walking through my head 'till I whimper, draw hearts in the sand and keel over,
but, God, if those long stairways contracted and sat down beside me while I was crying,
I'd have that tall woman and I'd climb my way to her body's arms!
Oooh Mama!! Maybe just a few inches more.
I want a tall woman to keep me warm.
'Cause I can't awe in a skylight daze, raise my hands and wonder if my woman ain't but just a few inches taller.
