Flooding into my system
pure serotonin
i sit back after this binge
a warm fuzzy feeling
to the brim
torso warm
face warm
engorged
filled up
the void
i gaze around
sunlight flooding into the windows
i sit in a cocoon
of numbness
faintly acknowledging my responsibilities
but focusing on the moment
intoxicated
pure beauty
no worries or time
admiring the life energy
the light cascading
through the clouds overhead
it is fading
as i surely will
the glow will end
but for now i savor every bit of it
