If You Could See Me
I can't keep this heart at bay
For it seeks to be appeased
So to tell you my heart's desires, I could not delay
I need to put this beast in my chest at ease
I can't take back the words I couldn't say
For you wouldn't have perceived them the way they were meant
For you never saw me the same way
I could see it in your eyes as I was burnt
Your smile so radiant like the sun's rays
Even a straight guy would go gay
Seeing you happy would make my day
And for your heart, I would never pay
Having you would dry away my tears
But for your happiness, i'd make way
It is said that love bears
So in my skin, I couldn't help but stay
For it seeks to be appeased
So to tell you my heart's desires, I could not delay
I need to put this beast in my chest at ease
I can't take back the words I couldn't say
For you wouldn't have perceived them the way they were meant
For you never saw me the same way
I could see it in your eyes as I was burnt
Your smile so radiant like the sun's rays
Even a straight guy would go gay
Seeing you happy would make my day
And for your heart, I would never pay
Having you would dry away my tears
But for your happiness, i'd make way
It is said that love bears
So in my skin, I couldn't help but stay
