There was a Girl
Once upon a time there was a girl,
She was such a hopeless romantic that it was simply tragic,
She daydreamed about a man who take her by the hand,
She wanted to somebody to call her honey,
Now, the heroine met the guy she wanted,
In her dreams the guy haunted,
He was sweet and charming,
Nothing was alarming,
Then he got up and left,
He didn't mean a word he said,
First love was jerk who lied,
There goes the guy,
She was such a hopeless romantic that it was simply tragic,
She daydreamed about a man who take her by the hand,
She wanted to somebody to call her honey,
After three years of pain,
The sun dried the rain,
The girl went back the same,
She was done with the blame,
The new guy her life,
He felt more than right,
But he was taken,
And it got the girl thinking,
She was such a hopeless romantic that it was simply tragic,
She daydreamed about a man who take her by the hand,
She wanted to somebody to call her honey,
Now the girl knew just what to do,
She toke her nose out of the fairytales,
She looked her own terrible fails,
And I said,
Forgot it,
She was such a hopeless romantic that it was simply tragic,
