The Immensity
An entity so vast no mortal mind can comprehend it's boundaries
It was thought to survive the previous universe's death
and slid in during the Big Bang that gave substance to our's
It lives, if such a value is applicable to it, at the center of our universe
as all matter moves out away from the point of origin
it stays in that empty void, seeing everything in all directions
Everything that composes it's physical form is anti-matter
For it to travel anywhere from where it currently resides
would bring irreparable cataclysm as it's mass touches ours
Besides, for it to swim through the silent dark expanses of space
it's sheer size alone would displace whole galaxies unknowingly
and where would such a being go anyway?
All life as we know is said to have been a result of it's intrusion
Seeding our new space with knowledge from before
Sentient pods sprayed in all directions to provide genesis
A testimony to it's very existence, there are no real Gods
Only longer lived and more experienced cultures
As higher powers have ever been the creations of fearful minds
It's screams of loneliness go unanswered as sound fails in a vacuum
perhaps it's just an infant form of it's previous species
and if so, what will be it's ideas and intents as it matures?
