Phases

See I, I've been through [b]pha[/b]ses
Mazes, which led me to dark venues
But still, I've continued pacing
I've been through stages, mental cages
I've been two places
"Heaven and Hell"
Both taught me to fail, til' I began to flip loose pages, [prevail]
and show the finger to my past [yea]
The one that vents two phrases
Lets take a trip,  
and skim through faces
I've seen friendship turn to love
and then, to strangers
Too strange it's
Two lanes it's
In one, I'm head on collision,
In the other
True change it's
Nobody see's the real side, see
The mirror got two frames it's
The frown is reversed, but inside the feeling gets worse
Too dangerous
There's two dangers [yea]
I pray now
But I've sinned through ages
Such sins i've tasted
Repent on a daily, got God on an
Intimate basis
See I been through phases
But i continue pacing
Now as I reflect
I reveal you matrix
Lessons I've been advised
For me to guide within you basics

We must be able to screw the feelings we've created

But I learned to get back up and not sweat the rain
Never wrecked by fame, or etched by flame
Never conformed to popular belief
