Going bra-less

Today I was so fed up with wearing a bra that I decided I just might give up wearing a bra altogether.  I would love to hear both womens' and mens' opinion on the subject, especially since I am large chested and have to take that into account when making the decision whether or not to go bra-less in public.  Wearing just a t-shirt and nothing else is not an option for me as my breast would be way to obvious and I know I would get all kinds of comments. I am not looking for that kind of attention and my main aim is to be comfortable while still looking presentable and stylish as well as age-appropriate.  It gets pretty warm where I live and my experience with bras has been mostly negative.  The underwires dig into my skin and the cheap metal on the straps breaks out my skin. It is really hard to find bras that are 100 percent cotton and if they can be found they are not  supportive like the other materials like lycra and spandex which I dislike having against my skin especially in the summer. I am currently experimenting with wearing a bandeau top made out of a thin cotton scarf under my tops just to have a little structure. We will see how that goes...... Layering also seems to help and sleeveless tops or jackets have been a true blessing.... Most of all I would really love to hear people's opinion on it and hear how they would feel seeing a large breasted middle aged woman without a bra in public.... Any tips from other women going through this will also be appreciated....
I am determined to throw out my bras and give this a go and will write an update soon.....  :)
