The world doesn't care

Very true! People walk past injured people on the street, ignore assaults, drive past motorists in need of help. It makes you wonder how selfish and or uncaring a person has to be to turn their head and walk away. It permeates every aspect of life. But there are some who care, nice people who volunteer to help. They are seen as weak by everyone else. When I express my nice guy side, people tell me nice guys finish last. But I believe that nice guys don't finish last, we just want to be sure no one gets left behind, even if I always do... jj

You are quite right :) ... I wasn't in a positive frame of mind when writing this :) ... Nice guys are a good thing :)

I enjoyed this. I personally respect short poetry that is to the point. Hard poetry.

I took away from this that all the attention seekers need to shut the fuck up because, frankly, you're not special.
