Will be
10ft x 10ft
Because that’s all
You’ll be allocated
(If you’re lucky)
Along with a door number
And a single key
Most are without windows
As outside
There is no longer
Anything one would wish to see
And Government instructions state
THOSE WITH HOMES!
STAY INSIDE!
OR PAY THE PRICE!
LOSE YOUR LIBERTY!
OR YOU’RE LIFE!
Sparsely furnished
They will contain
A trestle table
Which will count as a bed
Not likes the ones
On which we presently
Rest our heads
Against the wall
There will be
A computer desk and swivel chair
Where you can sit
To immerse yourself
In the now stripped down
Government controlled web
To avoid this now un-repairable
Post Blair pre-apocalyptic mess

another great write Anna:)..I alluded to a few of the same things in my write Planet Stupidity, but am working on another one not currently finished. Nice to see other artists that can see the grim future in store as well..keep doing your thing..it's awesome..curious if you don't mind where the ideas for the titles came from?..

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. My ideas come from my own (very troubled!) mind. I think my inspiration stems from my worries for humanity as a whole, where ever we are in the world, and I don't know what else to do but write about it.
At least its another point of view out there to counteract the self centred nonsense we get from those in charge. I must trust that the pen is mightier than the sword. Anna xx
