black lives matter
words alone can paint the biggest pic
take you on the wildest adventure
your standing in front of enter
saying u cant enter cause ur mind won't venture
but your incharge of the picture
so enter
when you say words do you think
about all possibilities you've released
crime, violence,pain, heat
think about how the word flings from between your teeth
do you say it with heat or a lil sweet
maybe if ppl would think
they would see what i see
sometimes ur not in control of the pic
its like messing up in pen u can't go back again and you're forced to relive the horror again
dating back to the later 1800
thats when the horror began and it still hasn't end
as a young African American woman who has black men her life
i cry for the safety of their life
the white has grown a lil pride
and are starting to take black mens lives
stripin them of their pride
not caring dead or alive
white on black crime
they say its justified
think about the mothers who’ve cried
cause their son is no longer alive
all those sleepless nights
wondering who is gonna loose their life
image living this kind of life
you ask god
you aint gettting no reply
you tell yourself it gets better in time
but how much time until we get justice for these black mens lives
its game time we are trying to survive
no more play time
it time to rise
for black lives
