The Wishing Star
My thoughts and wishes meant nothing,
I was a slave to the night,
I was a slave to the Moon,
a creature who was long forgotten,
a dancer of the night,
a Hiker who fights,
I try to find my way home but never can,
I am an old wishing star,
A Fallen star that fell to grant a child's wish.
“I wish to have a Family.”
She heard his voice and called back,
“Oh hopeful child, your wish has been granted”
She never regretted it but she misses her sisters,
She knows she can't return and will not bind any of her sisters to her fate,
She walks the earth,
She is Admired and sought out for,
But she does not care,
She watches The child who hoped and realized,
She is this child's new family,
So she went to him and told him who she is,
He grew happy and thanked her,
Now they both have a family to look out for.
