Why Bother

Alone in the dark with nothing but my broken heart . Pain of life drags me under . Promises spoken were nothing but lies. I gave my all for nothing. Awake from this dream to nothing but screams . Pounding in my head wishing I was dead . For the loneliness is killing me . I gave my heart and he tore it apart and handed me back the pieces.  Now I feel nothing . I pretend to feel though nothing feels real life is empty and hollow . I gave myself away and now my soul is gone .So much for my happiness for love is a lie . The only truth left is Sweet Death !!!!
