Eternal Soul
Across the kingdom of light I travel,
Into my mind, see reality unravel,
I am an eternal soul of light,
From infinity I jump into night,
Into the body of an unborn being,
Perception gone, only darkness seeing,
They call this a fetus, a baby perhaps,
Within this warm I feel time lapse,
Once free in the land of the sun,
But now my dying has begun,
I sense her discomfort, I feel her fear,
I know my end is coming near,
How can they take my life away,
But what is life? Why can't I stay?
To enjoy the sights I saw from beyond,
To breathe in the air, to live on,
To see the day when I pass away,
Back to my true home,
To grow old in a this mysterious land,
How could I die by my mother's hand?
The flesh of my flesh,
The blood of my blood,
Is this what they call love?
To take the life of an eternal soul,
To send me back to my eternal home,
Since conception I have remained,
Since the planted seed I have stayed,
In this cocoon of endless black,
Only senses do I lack,
Only thought I have within,
Wonder when this did begin,
Wonder when I will emerge,
Into the day, unsubmerged,
A growing fear inside my heart,
Will she send me into dark?
Now the hour is at hand,
When the doctor gives his command,
To take away my unborn life,
If had tears, they would be shed,
Never thought I'd end up dead,
Before I breathed on my own,
I feel the pain about,
This is death without a doubt,
Farewell to this place,
Of mysterious grace,
And into the kingdom of light I ascend,
They welcome me home with open arms,
Tears are shed for this harm,
The lost that I endured,
To never breathe,
To never see,
To never hear,
To never smell,
To never feel,
But as I know, time is wheel,
My time will come again.
Into my mind, see reality unravel,
I am an eternal soul of light,
From infinity I jump into night,
Into the body of an unborn being,
Perception gone, only darkness seeing,
