Dark Distortion

Dark sunshine rises,
Casting a shadow over our horizon.
Darkness is always there,
Lurking in every stare.
It chooses when to crash upon on,
It's humming sneaks up like a song thrush.
First mellow and calm,
Then battles for blood on it's palm.

I don't know why this shadow follows my every step,
But with every breathe,
I feel my mind being swept.

All I can feel is cold...
Distortion.....sadness......nothing. no path,
No sunshine, no direction to turn....
Left with no other choice but to force my heart to turn.

What was once a powerfull muscle,
Is now a punctured and sinking vessel.

I didn't choose for it to end this way.
Why force punishment on the free? My hollow carcass left rotting for nothing, after the hard time I spent busting.

My bodies shell fills with a musky smell,
Gusting in like forced wind. The air thin, hearing only the cries of my sins...

...Too weak to fight,
Blinded by blight,
Life tieing me tight,
Unable to reach light,
Eager to tak a bite,
Watching happiness drift out of sight...
