The wind has died
I can't breathe no more

Moving on in life
Is an innocent death

Thanks for writing this. My brother, close friend, has terminal cancer, and the time may be short. I'm dreading the final day, and I'm numb with pain/sorrow. The spirit of this poem may help...

I like the lines 'Moving on in life/is an innocent death' because that is so true. As you move on in life you lose who you used to be. Your childhood dies, your teen years die, etc. It is an innocent death but a death nonetheless. Well done!
