You see traces of conclusions
on an endless track,
When looking for a destination
on an infinite road
To a not so trusted relationship
between two souls
Connected with doubtful love
and hatred in disguise,
Trying too hard to spite the heart
and touch feelings
But feeling too weak in the knees
to walk further
with lies between your teeth
Till you spit the truth and break the chain
That kept you captive
under a rock of sadness
And holding you guilty
for all the bad that has happened
But rumour has it
you were dying in pain
and the weight of blame gave you no chance
but to bail out.
You had a slight taste of happiness
but not for long,
A bond promised to last forever
but never did.
Your soul almost got sold
to an "infinite" road that has a destination.
Your heart almost raced
to the finish line of an endless track,
Your blood almost made the last drop
on the first page of your book of life
as a mark of death all in the name of love.
I guess "Forever" is not that eternal
as you thought it was
