541 desert run
541 is where I run from
Where the ice no longer fun
Not a man but just a son
Running from the desert sun
The hustle's not the same
Not in this desert plain
We all want to numb the pain
Feel a little bit more sane
We all watch them die so young
As they close the gas station
Another Childs life is lost
To a selfish gangster cause
I wont return in vane
Not if it means I'll go insane
I'm sorry my old friend
But our friendships got to end
Because I can no longer tend
To a drug addicted mend
Where the ice no longer fun
Not a man but just a son
Running from the desert sun
The hustle's not the same
Not in this desert plain
We all want to numb the pain
Feel a little bit more sane
We all watch them die so young
As they close the gas station
Another Childs life is lost
To a selfish gangster cause
I wont return in vane
Not if it means I'll go insane
I'm sorry my old friend
But our friendships got to end
Because I can no longer tend
To a drug addicted mend
