ROSCOES POEM

I have written a poem
for my dear Uncle Roscoe
who saved my life twice
and has been my friend
as long as I can remember
and once operated
the wildest honk tonk
in the state of Indiana
that I ever knowed of
this is how it is today
I can still get it up
I can still get it off
I have to take it easy
coming down the home stretch
but I am stiil in the race
even after all these years
I am very happy to say
I'm getting to like it
better every day
