Storm

water on the ocean splash
water on me walking dash
water on the trees drip drip
water falls so life can sip

water from the sky it drops
on city streets and mountain tops
water pooling flowing down
from all the rooftops in the town

last night a storm came rolling in
thunder clapped 'twas such a din
awake from sleep before the dawn
lightning bolts in sky were born

water from the ocean far
away from shore where we all are
evaporation's unseen mist
has blown to here now earth is kissed

nature's love is all around
splitter splatter raindrops' sound
churgling gurgling streams flow by
filled with water from the sky

Sun on ocean's bringing back
the magic potion we all lack
water water we love you
we are grateful happy too
