The Beauty of Someday
I stumble
In pretend where
Beautiful slides beyond
My mirror
Unwashed by sudden rain
That drips me in southern
Tears which hold
My weeping breath
Imagine
Shadows fading without
The shattered dust
Of an overflowing moon
The want of someday
Takes my smiles
Along the tracks
Into the stainless station
Where I wish her to be
Spotless
With imperfection tattooed
On her tongue
That wiggles at the mere
Sight of the void
That has become me
Without her kiss
Shine
The shallow corners
Of my heart
With the hope
Hidden in a child
That longs for
Spring in the center
Of December
Beneath the beauty of someday
In pretend where
Beautiful slides beyond
My mirror
Unwashed by sudden rain
That drips me in southern
Tears which hold
My weeping breath
Imagine
Shadows fading without
The shattered dust
Of an overflowing moon
The want of someday
Takes my smiles
Along the tracks
Into the stainless station
Where I wish her to be
Spotless
With imperfection tattooed
On her tongue
That wiggles at the mere
Sight of the void
That has become me
Without her kiss
Shine
The shallow corners
Of my heart
With the hope
Hidden in a child
That longs for
Spring in the center
Of December
Beneath the beauty of someday
