I'm a semi-finalist in a poetry competition with an older poem of mine so I figured I would share it again with yall :) hope u enjoy

Revenge

I would have died 1,000 deaths
I would have given you my best
But you took my heart
And you tore it apart
Now there's a pain within my chest

I've always caught you when you'd fall
I've always given you my all
Now you want me back
But you can't have that
And to me you will come crawl

I am sick of all your games
All your excuses are the same
Now the tables turn
You're gonna feel my burn
You will finally feel my pain

You tried to catch me when I fell
Now I'm putting you through Hell
And I feel complete
Ah, revenge is sweet
What will happen? Only time will tell

You just cant stand the pain
And its driving you insane
You wish time would stand still
But this is for real
So you take a blade
And you cut your vein
But to me it's all the same

My story's just begun
And you're not the only one
If I'm hurt, my friend
I'll do it again
Ah, revenge is so much fun
