I let you go
See; you never wanted it true
I kept on sounding realities ground
Praying I would be wrong - I knew
And now we can't deny what i found.
Loving you hurts me to the bone
To imagine you kissing strangers lips
It quenches my voice and fades my tone
I am drowning when you touch her hips.
I never wanted that you are mine
You are you and i hate birds in a cage
And you never sold me water as wine
So hush now; the world is your stage.
I kept on sounding realities ground
Praying I would be wrong - I knew
And now we can't deny what i found.
Loving you hurts me to the bone
To imagine you kissing strangers lips
It quenches my voice and fades my tone
I am drowning when you touch her hips.
I never wanted that you are mine
You are you and i hate birds in a cage
And you never sold me water as wine
So hush now; the world is your stage.
