grain of sand
Here I am; nothing in my hand
The sky the volcanos the sea
All what is left is a grain of sand
No bird no dolphin not a single tree
Where I was; our hearts were burning
You were my sun my stars my moon
Now; an echo of the sound when you were turning
It came to sudden it came to soon
Where I will go; no ground for my tired feet
In my hand the relict of our unassailable fort
I now know what I never believed
Fortune is foul and love lives short
The sky the volcanos the sea
All what is left is a grain of sand
No bird no dolphin not a single tree
Where I was; our hearts were burning
You were my sun my stars my moon
Now; an echo of the sound when you were turning
It came to sudden it came to soon
Where I will go; no ground for my tired feet
In my hand the relict of our unassailable fort
I now know what I never believed
Fortune is foul and love lives short
