Solid Peace
Fear overtakes my heart, pain seizes it solid and I turn to stone.
the cells harden as it encompasses
slowly bit by bit I see where once life was, stillness and inorganic structures form.
My heart has finished beating
the rest slowly succumbs, where fear was, acceptance is created.
my eyes harden like solid pebbles no longer subject to a world not mine,
the tongue and mouth fall to rest
I can not speak
My brain finishes the job and congeals into granitic clusters.
Finally peace is mine!
the cells harden as it encompasses
slowly bit by bit I see where once life was, stillness and inorganic structures form.
