The Deal for Madmen Pt.1

In times cold and beyond our own there was a place where magic roams.
Knights from all lands come to take the throne and a women's hand.
But non proved worthy of such a task for the enemies grew stronger through every failed pass.
But as for one brave warrior who trained for years to do as said.
Feared the stories of how knights met a horrific death.
Some ripped from their waist and some decapitated from their spine.
This young warrior even heard of stories of knights who ran and hide some went crazy some got deprived.
As more stories flowed into his ears it didn't phase him one bit as he saw the stories as lies.
As he ventured forth with the sun facing his back he walked through the blood stained gates and crows warned him to turn around for insanity what he lacked.
He still walked through as courageous as can be he spoke proudly "nothing can stop me!"
But before his eyes he saw a man who stood still as a scarecrow can.
He asked the silhouette "are you okay?"
The silhouette responded "have you lost your way?"
The young warrior confused by this replied hastily "lost my way? What makes you believe in such to say?"
As the strange figure rose his head with a grin so sinister he said "because only the fools who dare tread this path will find no freedom only a bloodbath"
"What is your name if I may" asked the warrior
"The marionette is my name but who asks if you'll say?" Said the marionette.
"I'm valor please to meet you" said valor.
"Then I do believe your journey begins ahead valor but what does it to you matter?" Asked the marionette.
"Your just going to have to wait and find out" said proudly as valor started walking down the dark road before him.
