Citalopram

Little pill of white,
Will you ease my mind tonight?
You've tucked me in for years and years,
You've tried with all your might-

To take away my pain,
To keep me slightly sane,
You've tried so hard, my little pill!
But I fear you've tried in vain.

But I can’t live without you by my side,
I’m too afraid to even try.
So, I’ll suffer through your horrid flavor,
For sleep that was once denied.

Oh, I may sleep tonight,
My little pill of white,
But you won’t help me get up tomorrow.
You just can’t win this fight.
