Immersed....dragga me downunder, seaGoddess
when that nightdark
comes down to the
edge of the water world, no
moon, no stars,
all manner
of phantoms are i'magined
comin in on every
wave,
& I been
wading out to greet'em
meet'em,
currents push'n'pull one's
nekid ass about,
unseen waves near smack y'down
to out.
(o,thee immersion!)
the sea's vast seeming eternity,
becomes
near blind eternity...the fright
is
silly exhilaratin'
as a tremoring feel of
things
becoming in the soon of late[r]

"nightdark" who'd have thought.. I can only remember lakes and ponds when the fish would come up and bit me shins. Those little lips those little lips. The salty sea sounds scary. That is really a beautiful opening verse.
