When We Die
I’ve always wondered what it would be like
To die
What would it feel like?
Peaceful?
Quiet?
Where would you go after you die?
Somewhere where you won’t have to worry?
Where you don’t have to be afraid of how people think of you?
Where you can finally be happy?
On earth, you are happy
But in death
It could be glorious
Because the weight of the world
Lies down on your shoulders
And makes you tired
Makes you want to stop
Want to see the peace and quiet of death
People are always so sad when people die
Because they won’t be able to see them again
And as sad as it is
Be happy for them
Because they are at true peace
Something that us, the living, can never experience
To die
What would it feel like?
Peaceful?
Quiet?
Where would you go after you die?
Somewhere where you won’t have to worry?
Where you don’t have to be afraid of how people think of you?
Where you can finally be happy?
On earth, you are happy
But in death
It could be glorious
Because the weight of the world
Lies down on your shoulders
And makes you tired
Makes you want to stop
Want to see the peace and quiet of death
People are always so sad when people die
Because they won’t be able to see them again
And as sad as it is
Be happy for them
Because they are at true peace
Something that us, the living, can never experience
