Ebola , isis and Obama's drones,
have diverted our gazes
from war torn homes.
Newsanchors have angles
and ratings rule,
storylines are sexy
unbiased go mute
objectivity replaced
by ratings and views.
While Assad and Putin wipe villages clean
mass graves spring from houses
toy planes hit M16s
kids raised by slaughter, grow
into precocious newsstreams.
