In Between Two Dreams
in between two dreams I wait holding my breath
as for now feeling the swirling of the moment is perfect
too delicate and fading to hold, to stay, to be trapped
the grave of memories resurrect the fantasies of tomorrow
tombstones pave the brick road of sorrow I follow
joy may return in a bottle
but tears remain slained
hope is the last thing
I swallow
