A Death
A blur, a gust of wind
My thoughts, I'm lost within.
A crash, the seeds of change
My body, it feels so strange.
Confusion, the seeds of doubt
My mind, I'm lost without.
The colors, they bend and swirl
My spirit, who is this girl?
A scream, they weep and moan
My will, I feel it go.
The darkness, it closes in
My vision, it grows so dim.
A hand, it holds my own
My feelings, I'm going home...
A coffin, she lies inside
Her family, they screamed and cried.
The service, was short and sweet
Her mother, she wouldn't eat.
The flowers, were roses red
Her father, wished he were dead.
The deluge, it rained and poured
Her sister, silently mourned.
The earth, seemed cold and sad
Her brother, just held their dad.
The sky, was thick and dark
Her dog, just howled and barked.
The casket, was lowered down
Her best friend, never made a sound...
My thoughts, I'm lost within.
A crash, the seeds of change
My body, it feels so strange.
Confusion, the seeds of doubt
My mind, I'm lost without.
