Path To Where We Are

we may never forget the ones who left us
nor forget the hurt they made us feel
but we must look beyond all that  
  
remember the good they have done as well
they brought out beauty in us that was hidden
made us see different thru mirrored stars
  
took our souls into a paradise of fantasy
helped us feel luv even though it was just for a time
we shared experiences like none before or might not again
  
must remember that we gave them our all
for whatever reason they couldn't luv us back the same  
but we have hearts and souls worthy of great luv  
  
so learn from the hurt that has made us stronger  
be thankful for all the good cause we smiled for a while  
path we have walked in the past has brought ours together to collide
