Just this once,
so I can live along.

Everyday I gave you the key,
and I locked myself in
when I could be free!
I told you of things,
when I had nothing to say
but today,
Can you speak to me
and pretend
you never saw the key?
Can you ask me
if I still got the key?!
And I will shamelessly
do a magic trick and get it out
from under your shoe.
Can you fake a smile
just so that I can see?
Can you lead me
to blind myself?
I will become like the back of your hand

Will you please
just stare at me?
Cause I know you can't see me.
Do you know a place
where I can hide?
Will you take me up to the hills..
where the unwanted rest?
Will you line me up,
and shove me to a corner..?

Can you take me out,
and feed me the lie?
Cause I hope to choke on it and die.
