Not much shocks me, nowadays    
when I've been around the bend    
a few times    
seen people at their worst    
and at their best.      
   
Crocodile tears, weeping  
with pretentious beliefs    
 
(go ahead, humor me.. tell me again about the chaos under your skin; in your mediocre life, sitting on the throne of nothingness)    
 
of insecurities and doubts,    
selfishness  
  imbecile    
     egotistical    
        self righteousness    
 
Narcissistic pride  
 
   
cloaked    
under tough    
(cowardly)    
pseudo exteriors    
hidden, disguised    
   
I only ask one question, to those      
How do they feel    
in the quiet moments of the night    
when you look in your child's eyes    
and see your mirrored reflection?    
(the sad example that you are!)    
   
Does the abyss gaze back at you?      
   
   
   
(If they have the intellect to answer that question truthfully, they might have a chance in becoming, human again!)
