Daark paths we tread

Dark paths we tread
No light in sight
still we go deeper
farther into the night
where creatures are
evil lurks
and our deepest fears reside
yet we continue
many waver
some run back to the light
for those of us who stay
no one understands
we stay to lock ourselves away
to keep others safe
when one enters
the path we reside
darkness spreads
we try to get along
then we snap
lightness gone
what we lock away envelopes us
rage grows
eyes glow.......
no one understands us
those who lock ourselves away
its for your safety
yet you stride in
mocking us,
making fun of us
pushing us
SNAP, CRACK, SMASH
we turn and leave
you broken twisted
you thought you would taunt
you thought you would come away
but darkness envelopes you to
