sitting here acting tough
rough enough to keep me down
my pleasant smile
turned into a scowl
a glare for a feeling
that wont ever be there
its never enough laying prostrate
begging for forgiviness
never enough for you
i dont want to disapoint you
i dont want you to reject me as your own
never enough smiles
its not enough to sit here
acting tough
acting up
never enough to just stand there
and take it
