Tongue Tied
So many beautiful girls in the world,
Yet not one compares to you,
The natural beauty that you were born with,
Makes me go crazy,
Every conversation we ever had was like I was on cocaine,
My heart beating faster than ever,
Waiting for each reply,
Every second seems like forever,
To know that I put a smile on your face,
Makes me melt inside knowing I made the most beautiful girl smile.
You’re in my dreams,
You’re in my thoughts,
My dreams are far from reality though,
Craving to call you mine,
The natural nerves of asking you out,
Makes me tongue tied,
I hesitate at every opportunity because I want it to be perfect,
I ask God to give me the strength to ask for her love,
Yet I struggle to say the words,
How hard it is to ask such a simple question,
My only enemy is time,
I don’t want to wait too long where I lose you,
Yet your beauty keeps me tongue tied,
But I won’t lose hope,
I won’t give up on what I need most.
All I can ask for is to have you here,
I struggle with each breath because you’re not near,
Looking into your beautiful eyes and saying I love you is my addiction,

Passion and commitment is what I offer,
