DEEPER THAN RHYMES

It’s another beautiful day for me as I get on the internet
With a goal to impact lives for better that’s all I represent
With educative conscious lyrics not just for your amusement
I engage minds with conscious words that give succour
To souls whose lives are stagnated due mental impairment
Revolutionary building a fan base many believe this movement
Take every dosage of my words to see positive improvement
I’m far from timid every line is explicit with bold statement

Living a quiet life without voicing out your mind ain’t simple
Brainstorming I write relevant rhymes about what affects my people
Different strokes for different folks, some show love or hate for example
Even my critics marvel at the deepness of conscious thoughts I sample
Am hard-headed I will fight till death if my rights any one tries to trample
I take life serious no clowning; every move is purposeful I don’t gamble
This gift of mine is a curse & blessing, amazing folks like it’s a miracle  

The things I write can shape your mind for good or distort your perception
Ignorant ones laugh at another who seeks understanding by asking question
The path of some of us is to guide others with less insight to the right direction
Letting you know there’s a war going on between evil and good for your soul
The New World Order’s evil plan is to manipulate you like using a remote control    
I’m just an artist I capture in words the things I see around in three dimension
I speak my mind without censorship denying the truth on radio and television

If you misconstrue me and hate, then you are not aware of your real enemy
You are used as a pawn in the government system that breeds mental slavery
You are dumb giving credit for our past greatness and wealth to oil discovery
Study history and learn how non oil revenue in the past built our economy
Compare with now the ills of imbalances in allocation sharing due to dichotomy
Our elites crippled our home industries against progress promoting importation
No plans for industrialization but turned us into a nation known for consumption
Created policies to enrich them indirectly by reducing heavy taxes on importation
Making the giant of Africa a major consumer nation and contraband destination

For years they neglected the development of our basic infrastructures now in decay
Huge human resources & capital is wasted on medical tourism by patients everyday
Even Mr. President and his wife don’t have faith patronizing our local hospital
They say they are patriotic only in eloquent speeches but they are not practical
They don’t visit Obudu cattle ranch for their vacations but they prefer South Africa
Quit the pretence and hypocrisy to see for yourself the naked truth I’m telling ya
The truth is bitter and without a doubt my second name is more like vinegar

My president told us there’s no corruption most cases reported are mere stealing
That’s a ridiculous lie? In every smoke they say there is a fire” what is he concealing
The obvious deficits in budget implementation every year is a fact always revealing
There’s little progress made due to an alarming unchecked rate of corruption
EFCC has been silent for many years we ain’t seeing any bad official’s prosecution
If you doubt the realities then you are under the hypnosis of minister of information
Wake up! It’s our rights to challenge the government and demand accountability
Coz this country belongs to us, maintaining checks and balances is our responsibility
We all have a role to play to develop as a prosperous nation living in peace & unity
