Morningstar: Screams of Agonized Thunder

Stars shiny brightly
Spiraling to the Earth
As angel wings burn
And flutter in the wind
Screams of agony
Torn asunder
As the laws of God
Resonate like thunder

The houses of Heaven must surely be empty
For I see my brethren falling as they bleed
Those who chose to follow my example
To be thrown beneath judgment’s horses and trampled
Dragged through the streets and ridiculed in Heaven
Lashed across their backs, winged severed for seven
Scores across the stars with those hate filled eyes
In the house of God music is made with their cries

“Oh, God, why have you forsaken me?
All I sought was to feel your grace
Father, why have you forsaken me?
Send me not from your grace.”

But no mercy was shown in the house of the lord
Legions of graceless angels kneel before the sword
Those left in high esteem will terminate
Simpler to destroy than it is to create
The blood of families paint the streets crimson
This is the price to pay for their treason
Thrown over marble walls into the skies
In the house of God music is made with their cries

I see you falling to me, brothers
There is a place here beside me
I see you falling to me, sisters
There is a place here beside me

I weep for the fallen ones
I know your pain
The loss of one so loved
With nothing to gain
Say goodbye to hypocrites
And knives in backs
The Fallen together
Will set jealously
On the rack

United, we will burn our legacy on Earth
Tainting eternity with their every birth
We will openly offer salvation
While secretly forging their paths to damnation
No longer will we look to the high Heavens
For we are now the lords of the seven
So called deadly sins, they will mark our way
We’ll claim the souls of His children and seize the day

I see you kneeling to me, brothers
Our revenge will soon come to pass
I see you kneeling to me, sisters
We’ll avenge those crimes of the past
