A Sinner's Mind
Oh me oh my; I think this is the end.
Oh how much I have sinned.
What would it matter if just for one night
I put my gloves down and ended the fight?
Just to close my tired eyes
And say good-bye.
As I hold this gun heavy with lead
I think back to how much I have bled
I speak to myself: “Am I even sane?”
No, a sane person doesn’t feel this much pain.
My eyes shut and I sing a lovely tune.
Then I count down in my head
THREE...
TWO...
ONE...
Boom.
THREE...
TWO...
ONE...
Boom.
