How do you sit there with her
like I'm not even there.
Leave with her, come back and

Because you came to check on me.
I'm confused, and amazed at
how easily you enrapture me.
Walk up to me arms open wide.
I know you are asking for permission
I let you hug me and as you leave.
Am wondering why you care.
