AFRAID OF GIRLS
In every Eve I see the rotten apple.
In every she I see the one before.
I hear a serpents tongue,
in a long winded goodbye,
to the rest of me
that never stood a chance.
Their fingerprints will not wash off of my skin.
Their voices will not dissipate in here.
Emotional violence,
it never seems withheld.
This damage to my chest provokes the fear.
In every Eve I see the rotten apple.
In every she I feel the one before.
Misogyny?
It's really not my thing.
Though can you blame me?
Affection,
It means nothing amongst these whores.
