Hell Bound Train
[font=Times New Roman][/font
Listen to the rhythm of the tracks
feel the winds of life rushing past.
Our eyes meet in the darkness, unseen,
though no doubt felt.
feelings of mutual understanding,
no hope of looking
into a more miserable soul.
it is simply this shared curiosity
we have in common.
What is this quest we seek?
but more confusing,
why is it even sought?
Have we not come to the same conclusion?
our lives are hopeless,
Yet, here we are,
knights from the land of misery,
rushing down the same tracks
on separate crusades of desperation.
I am weary now, I must rest.
Perhaps later, we shall share a toast
to this mystery misery quest,
aboard this hell bound train.
