Sunshine on a Rainy Day
Another long week coming to an end.
It's cloudy, cold, wet.
Sitting in my office,
fingers punching away at my keyboard.
Another day chasing that dollar.
My mood, like the weather, is... blah.
Then I think of you.
Your smile and sparkling eyes!
Another minute fantasizing.
Holding hands, stealing a kiss.
Talking, laughing, touching.
Time stops.
Another instant catching myself grinning.
Alone, but not.
You are on my mind, always.
And you brighten the dreary days.
