wit every doubt,
to be some vapid metaphor
reminiscent of some
thing
mistaken for/by/of ' me '
& all the loves
that lost themselves
from
this, my livingly mortal

I just realised that humanity created metaphors (i.e. art) to remember, to remember a particular version of reality that they subscribe to.

Oh that's alright too, love. I was never a sucker for metaphors until I started reading about the academic mumbo-jumbo of poetry. It can be fun. It's part of the (western) ancient art of memory.
Waivering such things is attention to syntax rather than semantics. It's sort of like maths more than poetry ... butt aye could be rung ... ;)
