Why Do They Have To Go?
Oh look there it went
the moment's passed by
A second of lightness
Behind these heavy eyes
I swear some days
They move so fast
Feels good when it's there
But it doesn't last
Frightening really
How few they become
How far in between
How fast they run
Leaving me out of breath
Trying to grasp them back
So i can shield myself
From an anxiety attack
Once it leaves
The walls close in
The floor sways
The world starts to spin
My head will pound
My lungs will burn
In these terrible moments
Where happiness will turn
And leave me again.
