Shame

What is shame?

Shame is nothing more than a mind game.

The mind plays tricks on us, to keep us tame.

Difficult to swallow, of what we became.

It's hard with shame,

Because all we want to do is place blame.

To others that don't understand, it's just lame.

But the painful feelings, we have in our head, burns like a constant flame.

When your so beat down, it's hard to look up, let alone stride for something better and set you sites to aim.

So lets rise above it, and give yourself a new name.

So be like a fancy dame,

And rise into fame.
