my mistake

i left
i drove
i walked in and asked to see you
you held me
i have never felt so alive
i cried in your arms
you just sat there
the guard said you couldnt hold me
you couldnt touch me
couldnt hold my hand
i cried
and cried

we talked
laughed
i sang to you
i cried some more
i never relized how much i missed you

when i left your eyes watered up
i felt horrible
i wanted to take all the pain away
put you in my car and take you away

they recuffed you
they brought you away
i left but i will return
i told you i will come back

i went home to someone else
i lied to him in not comming back
