My Little Star
From up above, from down below,
Where I existed I could never know,
The Deep in the dark, the black of the nothing,
I never knew empty could feel so crushing,
Gasping for air, deep in the sea, out in space,
Neither up nor down could ever lead to any place,
Lost in a world I thought I knew, thought I could survive,
Never realizing how I could never really be alive,
Then in the deep, the dark, the absolute nothing,
There arose a small, bright, unequivocal something,
It shinned ever bright in the deep dark black,
Captivating my sight with a warm embracing attack,
It danced and twirled in the crushing empty,
Making me laugh and smile, trying to tempt me,
In the cold it felt warm, in the void it felt complete,
Then I embraced it and all I felt was it's heart beat,
Thump, Thump, it pulsed through my veins and took control,
and without warning this thing had stolen my soul,
My little star, I know not of what you are, but blessed,
My little star, you came from the heavens, thus your name Celeste.
My little star, I can now never let you go,
My little star, you are now all that I can ever know.

My little star, I can now never let you go,
My little star, you are now all that I can ever know.
