First  Taste

She pulled me in
with silver tongue
and ruby lips.

I dived into the depth of love,
and haven't resurfaced.

Infatuation blooms,
flowering passion.

She no longer speaks in riddles,
her slick metal slur,
tarnished.

Love is quiet decay.
